sniper RIFLE
sniper rifles take a few hundred bucks in upgrades.... and also there are different brands of guns to take into consideration, and the fact that you cannot import and canadian prices are about 2-3x what you see over seas.
also we will NOT tell you where to buy the guns from as per site rules until you get verified aka we know you are 18+

Unfortunately, he's not for sale on BuyAirsoft.

I'm a very good sniper.

I'll work for about 300 dollars a game not including food and drink.

There are others like Stalker here on the site, but I dont think you'd be able to afford him.

If you're looking for a sniper 'rifle' however. Go tokyo marui, Classic army or Maruzen if you want to make a serious rifle.

The A&K SVD is 'alright', I own one but its taking a lot of work to make it even competative as a sniper rifle. You can use AEG barrels (650mm), new hopup rubbers (have to cut about 1/3rd of the length for it to fit properly. Teflon tape helps compression a lot) Downgrade the spring to something more managable, 500FPS is just newbie appealing bullshit. I have this thing shooting about 380 and it reaches out rather far.

Other mods include replacing the hopup 'bar' with a cut O-ring, properly lubricating the cylinder and properly tightening the barrel screws.

For that amount of work, you could easily just buy a TM VSR-10 which would be able to outshoot it with 380fps spring installed and a scope/scope mount.

I'd buy a strelok heck 2 if I could

BUT to stay on topic, I'm on the bandwagon for a VSR-10 for the newer players

Just because one holds the record for the longest shot doesn't make him the best.

Gulag June 28th, 2011 01:40

Just because one holds the record for the most kills doesn't make him the best also.

Actually. I'm pretty sure it does.

Take drivers for an example. Is the best driver someone who reached the highest speed or someone who rode the longest distance? I don't think so. Truth is you don't know how those kills looked like and just because it was done with sniper rifle, doesn't mean that it was something wort of the title "sniper kill".

But this is just way too subjective matter and we could argue about it forever.

ThunderCactus June 28th, 2011 03:38

The enemy matters too. Let's face it, one man just doesn't stack up to another. Anybody with 4 hours of training on the counterstrike noob server can take out a dozen somalian insurgents lol

Anyway, you'll want a tokyo marui VSR-10 or L96. Not a clone, not a chinese POS, and nothing gas or AEG. You want a springer, bolt action, tokyo marui rifle.
Good luck finding one, it's not impossible but they're a tad rare.

airsoft47 June 28th, 2011 07:24

ok my bad i'm looking for a "sniper rifle" lol and I'll look into getting age verified asap
