SAT Variable Velocity Device!

Kind of looks interesting, What do you think? It seems to work very well, and could be useful.

Wasn't this originally a RATECH item?

Interesting
But to take advantage of this you need a high power spring, and with a metal piston head I'd be somewhat worried to crack the cylinder head of even the GB

Comments?

What a neat idea.

I personally want one. It looks like an amazing idea. I have a SYSTEMA 380fps spring in my M16 and I think that would work fine. I like it since some of my friends are picky about high fps and with this I could switch down. And it makes it better to have a field gun and when you want CQB just dial it down... Ingenious

You don't really need a high power spring. You can adjust your velocity from 420 down to cqb range of low 300's.

You shouldn't ever crack a cylinder head unless you have some kind of other catastrophic failure, as for the metal piston heads, I run the aluminum piston heads in all electrics (P90, M4), including hardball setups for 550-650+ FPS games. Never had a V2 gearbox shell break and I'm still on my first one (systema). If you are ultra paranoid get a AJAX STS as Sorbothane is going to hinder your ability to use the piston head.

FPS is way too inconstant. Either use a different spring or get a second gun.

Cool.
