What Should I Upgrade My New M4 With!?

hey everyone! I recently acquired a new G&P M4 Carbine RIS and i want to know what i should put in it to make it shoot long and accurate. I am putting a Prometheus tightbore in it already and i am installing a V2 ASCU unit in it. Any suggestions on how to make it the best it can and on the internals just let me know!
This is the exact gun i have http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/eac-custo...ncher-aeg.html
I know there is probably a thread similar to this but i want new input that is up to date.
Thanks everyone for reading!

Run it like it is, and see how it works first.

I specialize in fully upgrading G&P M4s, ship it to me and I'll make it awesome :D

I don't really want to ship it anywhere, too much money for a uni student :(

Also I've heard that the shimming can be pretty nasty out of the box and if it's really bad it can ruin the piston

Simple fact is, all mechboxes should have the shimming inspected. I have never come accross a factory built mechbox that did not need a few shims added/removed.

Before you even shoot a G&P out of the box, you should shim it lol
Full upgrade of the everything for a G&P is usually around $400, but it lasts FOREVER. I built guns 3 years ago that haven't broken down yet, and some of them are 380fps 1250rpm builds

Don't go messing with it as soon as you get it\! this is how everyone gets there(My gun broke, what can i do)reaction ! just keep it like it is !upgrade it in the long run!or wait until something brakes.

ThunderCactus August 31st, 2011 15:21

But you should absolutely shim it as soon as you get it or I guarantee it will break sooner than later, G&P's are excellent guns, but they've got a bad rep for breaking gear shafts due to bad shimming

ok sounds good, i'll test fire it and then get it taken apart and properly shimmed. Any suggestions on what type of hop up rubber and nub i should use with the stock hop up unit? Or should i replace the stock unit?

Correct me if I am wrong but I herd that g&p's hopup unit is pretty good. As for the hopup nub and rubber, you should get a
SCS hop up nub and a ARS hop up rubber. I have it on my Sam-r its pretty good.

Everything about G&P is good in my opinion!

The best upgrades are:

Go and get a membership at a local Crossfit club, and upgrade the operator.

Go and buy 3 cases of quality BB`s and shoot them and upgrade the operator`s knowledge on the quirks of said gun.

Buy extra piston, run until broken

Exactly what he told me when I was asking about upgrading mine.

Aside from that, as a stock gun they work great.
