Safety lock stuck

In the prossces of disasamlbing my gun for painting, I somehow managed to get the safety stuck on the gun (it is a socomgear MEU) I have removed all of the surrounding parts, but the safety lock is completely stuck wont even move up and down, please help

You would probably have more luck posting this in the Doctor's Corner section rather then the Newbie Tank.
