ak74u upgrade help
 

what can i do to extend my barrel and basically mod my ak74u to look like a U.S tactical ak 74 i have the echo1 red star ak74u. thanks

The Polish Tantal looks fairly tacticool with the nylon (?) front handguard and long front end.

I would suggest trying to see if you can score an LCT AK103 kit or something (front end only, don't get the full "conversion kit" or your shit will likely get confiscated that is unless you do a custom order through a retailer here for peace of mind).

If you want the rails and stuff I saw a modernized AK that looked pretty sexy (not the US modernized tactical AK). I forget which country manufactured it but I remember it was a former bloc country that may have been deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan. Maybe Romania, Poland or the like....

PS: I'm not an expert on AK's, I'm only just getting into them. I only recently started looking for distinguishing things on them (like how people can tell the difference between different AR15's but say all AK's look pretty much the same).

There's also the Hungarian AMD-65, looks pretty tacti-cool in it's communist form and not that far from a western system, too.

The first image is actually a LCT airsoft AEG (and looks JUST like the real steel one to me), but the second is a tacticooled real steel rifle.
