1911

hey there fellow airsofters.

i have a question to put forth to all of you. i am in the market for a new 1911 as mine just sh*t the bed so to speak. i am firm on my choice of a 1911. i am looking for a full metal with trades (preferably springfield armory, kimber or smith and wesson) preferably black or dark coloured. the only thing i am not sure about is brand. i have done some research on my own and i would like to hear what all of you guys and gals have to say on brand name. i am looking for durability and reliability. not worried about cost at all! let me know! cheers!

Not worried about cost? Buy a Marui and customize each part with aftermarket. You'll get everything you want, the exact way you want it. Be prepared to part with at least a grand, though.

i have been highly considering getting one of your pistols brian. i love the look of the kimber tle with the black on tan slide/frame finish. only thing would be is i don't want those digital crimson trace grips. i would like some black rubberized grip panels instead. is that a possibility?

If cost is no object you can have IK's gun to your exacting want...more or less...

Or you can build one from TM's with the myriad of kits that are available, provided you can get one in country...

Like TaroBear said, "Be prepared to part with at least a grand". lol

But yeah, ILLusion Kinetics will be the best you can possibly get.

I can attest to the quality of product that ILLusion builds. You won't be disappointed if you buy from him.

I've seen IK being mentionned on non-canadian forums when searching for 1911 info.

One day...one day.

Really? That's interesting. I actually create very little presence of my own outside of the Canadian community. I'm surprised that word has spread beyond our borders, although I've had a few customers from other countries.

I hope the words are good. LOL.

I couldn't imagine them being anything else but the utmost praise. I've seen a few of your creations and they're just incredible in every sense. Even the most "plain" gun is a work of art when it comes to form and function.
