Choosing a gun comes from lots of personal preference, ie,a gun that I like, could be one that you hate...

I would suggest you try attending an event, and go around presenting yourself to the players and ask if you could try their guns! Ask the brand, model, personal feedback... etc, (I've never seen someone that didnt want to talk about his gun!)

Or

You could go to a local airsoft store, and try the guns....

Or:

You could go to an armory (in the USA) and try guns you like....

I did all of the above, and fell in love with the FN scar-h :)

I will be going to a game with some people, so I'll try some out. There is only one good airsoft store around and it's a hour away, so once I have time to go out there when off work, then I will

I never understood these threads asking for gun ideas. It's like asking: what car do you think I should get? Or which house, clothes..etc. Either you need to be very specific on the type of gun you want, or what type of playing you'll be doing for others to help. If you're getting guns as loaners or trying to get others to play with you, maybe ask them what they like. Or get an M4 as it's the easiest of find replacement parts for if it fails.

Get the Hyundai touring... I like it allot.

For gun ideas, get a kraken, they are fucking cool!!!

But without joking, do what i do: step 1. spend a shit load of money on nice guns,step 2. get board of them, step 3. sell them, step 4. repeat.

After it all, i have a better idea of what i like now, and look mom, no hands...

KJW or WE take your pick reliablity OTB or badass factor that may need some upgrade parts but will then be uber reliable.

Look at either WE, WA, or KJW.

KJW is arguably better out of the box but mags are more a tad more expensive.

Now WE is known to need a bunch of upgrades early on they claim to not need them with the newer Versions.

I've heard good things about WA but someone with more experience should confirm that.

WE would be a good start for GBBR's. I have an XM177 from them, and the only thing I have it in is a NPAS unit, and the thing is running strong. Only problem is that the bolt catch doesn't like to engage all the time. Fixable with an AEG shim I hear.
