Can I bring tactical flashlight in luggage?

I am in China now and want to buy a Surefire m900 clone, but since its a big flash light with vertical grip do you guys think it may cause any security issue when return to Canada?

Nope

Pack it in your checked baggage. No problem.

Thirded, no problem whatsoever.

Just don't take a flight through the U.S.. Weapon lights are ITAR-regulated.

ArcticFox1984 February 1st, 2012 07:52

ITAR only applies to certain things.

I can buy weapon lights from the US that were made in china, cost more then 100 dollars and aren't controlled by ITAR.

Same story but the flashlight was made in the US = ITAR'ded

4th for no problem... unless you have realistic trade marks on that flashlight that infringe on a US trademarks, if so I might tape them up first or something to avoid customs thinking you have a 500 dollar chunk of metal in your bag you didn't pay proper taxes on.

Nothing wrong there... its just a flashlight! :P
