question about V2 spring guides
hello all,
while upgrading my G3 (M41)'s V2 gearbox I noticed that there is a threaded hole at the back of the spring guide for a big screw that hold a plastic part at the back outside of the gearbox. Is that standard? i.e. will it be present on whatever upgrade spring guide I buy ? I searched in google images but it's not clear. thank you! |
That hole is what your buffer stock screw will thread into.
The plastic (usually rubber) pad at the back of the mechbox is just a spacer. And on that note, it's also why if/when you overtighten the stock screw you can pull the mechbox out of alignment (nozzle) and end up with feeding issues and body pins that "mysteriously" become too snug. |
ah, excellent, ok.
thanks! |
