G&P Stoner 63 question

Is it possible to put a dummy round belt in the Stoner 63 at the magazine box like all the SAWs and M60s in the market?

I doubt it. The BB feed tube and wiring for the box mag goes where a belt would go. Plus its covered by a metal hinge door anyhow.

No the bb feed tube run on the feed tray unless you open up the hinge door or removing it completely

Dont even think the original stoner 63 had a visible belt?

No it feeds from the right side which is protected by a swiveling door

Yes, but as stated above; there is a door (or flap if you prefer) that covers most of the feed area. There would only be a couple rounds exposed between the box and the door. The airsoft version has the feeding tube running through it, so there's no room. You could try to mod a shorter length to gap between the box and the door.

Oh thats too bad. Anybody know if they have the bipod for this gun by any chance?

Adamlxlx April 13th, 2012 19:03

I don't think there is a specific bi-pod but I am not 100% on that. My stoner 63 is the new railed version so I can put pretty much any bi-pod on it.

Original stoners came in several configurations, right and left hand feeds(even top feed), and with at least three different "box" mags, only one of them having exposed rounds. One of the "box" mags is a drum with an attached feed chanel that completly encases the rounds and feeds from the left.
