Just saw this video about a new product that suppose to dramatically extend the range of your existing GBB and AEG. I'm really curious how they were able to achieve it.

This hobby is routinely meme-poisoned by hype-filled, superstition-inducing products that are poorly-explained or not really special at all. I won't name any of these products to avoid flaming, but there are plenty of airsoft enthusiasts who worship a lot of plain-ass bullshit with extremely fancy marketing.

I bet the AEG version of this will cost a lot more than the R-Hop but do no better than the R-hop, if not worse.

I can't speak for the gas pistol variant, but the best hopup in this sport costs less than a sandwich.

it's basically a (poorly) mass-produced g-hop/r-hop. the video pretty much shows it's about worthless because of the lack of fine tuning.
