Best rechargeable CR123 batterie?

I m looking to get the best CR123 rechargeable batteries and charger to power a olight m21x.

What would you recommend?

Thanks

Merci :)

NON!!!!

I don't write french but dealextreme cr123 batteries are awful.

Fenix / Surefire RCR123a is the way to go. Streamlight/surefire brand non rechargable CR123 are relatively cheap and excellent quality as well.

Only user RCR123 with LED lights

Not true anymore.

They make RCR123As in 2-3 voltages to match regular non-rechargeable 123As in hallogen lights.

I told him that the Tenergy ones he sold me 5-6 years ago are still working good.
Deadpool told him to buy a bunch for cheap on dealextreme, and replace as needed vs. buying ultra high quality ones and still replace them after a short while.

I use a single protected 17670 cell in mine...

I like the LiFePO4 ones. Safe(r) chemistry.
Tenergy makes some:

There's also some from AW that I have currently.

I'm using two AW 123's with an Ultrafire charger. Runs at 3.7v and lasts a good amount of time. Good performance and no problems so far.

This! Leave the French to the fucking Quebec boards.

any "deal" anything that contains acid is never a good thing to put in your stuff.

Besides a brand name battery will have a longer batt life then the cheap stuff, and a rechargeable wont give you a very long burn time. Its just better to invest in some normal ones.

Iv had alot of luck with the Panasonic ones, and there not that much.

How many cr123's does it use?

2x cr123 = 1x 18650

I get my 18650's from DX. Get protected cells and you're good to go.

kullwarrior June 5th, 2012 10:29

From my experience all rechargable CR123 were problemanic. It wont work properly with my Fenix TK21 (mid-high end) flashlight on it's highest setting

slink182 June 5th, 2012 10:42

I just use regular (non-rechargeable) CR123A batteries. They have a rated shelf-life of about 10 years (with a little overage). If I get through a 20-pack in 5 years, I'd be surprised. I buy a fresh 20-pack every 5 yrs or so.

Besides, in a SHTF scenario, you're not likely to have access to a wall-charger.

Really? Do you have links on the DX? Carrying bulk CR123 across the border is very cheap and easy when I make drives, and it's easy to find a battery store that carries the non RCR's

Kos-Mos June 5th, 2012 21:40

I got something like that (but mine are 700mAh, and they last way more than a game)
