Under Age Age verification...

I started airsofting when I was in grade eight and im now 16. Would it be possible to get age verified if I bring a parent? It wouldnt be a problem would it if I had parental consent? I have come back to airsofting and I thought it would be beneficial to join the community. Please dont just write me off as a newb trying to get though, I used to play at bigfoot and I had to quit due to school work.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Still have two years to wait until you're 18, then you can be age verified.

Curo September 2nd, 2012 23:36

Age Verified is confirm an age of 18 or older, sorry but that would be circumventing the system and that is against the rules. You are going to have to wait till your 18.

age verifying a minor would kind of defeat the idea of having the av system.

Your just going to have to wait.

Just be patient until your 18....

sure we can take down your info, submit it, but due to budget cuts and a mass amount of paper work involved, public hearings, votes, and applicable taxes + fees. your status may not be updates for about 2 years.

Being an under aged airsofter sucks I know. Just be patient. It's not like you can't play.

Bro, I joined at the first month of grade 8, now I am going university.

It even says <----Sept 2008. yes I am 18, no I am not AV'd, forgot to bring my ID to a game.

It's worth the wait my friend. You can very much be a part of this community. Stick around, learn the forums, and read, read, read. You can still obtain "almost" any information you need at the moment, and ask questions "if" the information isn't posted several times already. The AV system does not prove personal experience or maturity, so don't take offense. It helps to protect our community while enforcing full members to be at a point while they are legally responsible for "themselves". So your access to certain things is restricted, but it's a good chance for you to prove your patience and understanding to the community, while getting known (hopefully in a positive way).

I'll give you a hint; trying to circumvent the system, or having an attitude will not work in your favor.

Welcome back to airsoft, stick around.

One thing not mentioned, if your parent gets AV'd to get you guns, you both get banned.

Don't sweat getting AV'd. There's tons of info to get sorted out with for how things work, gear, games, etc...

Your grammar and spelling is already heads and shoulders above most here...give it a couple more years. By then you'll either be ready to run the place or you'll be full on into boobies and beer. I'm not much into drinking but the other stuff is loads of fun.
