SAS's prehistoric tactical: please identify this foregrip
hello all
can anyone identify the foregrip used on the gun on the right side of the pic? it looks like a drill handle doesn't it ? http://crimethroughtimecollection.fi...17-2.jpg?w=823 |
kinda looks like an ak grip ziptied to the mp5
|
You know what it looks like?
It looks like a pair of Locking Pliers... Which would actually be really effective... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Locking_pliers |
the white pixels look more like a metal part to me, the kind you find on this drill's front handle - it's the early eighties, Ak grips didn't exist.

something like this one http://us.123rf.com/400wm/400/400/ab...bber-grips.jpg profile looks more like a plumber's plier though |
It's probably off a hammer drill.
|
This photo has been brought up before on either Arnies or UKAZ and the general concensus was that it was off of a drill. Not exactly concrete but I hope it helps.
|
that's oldschool...
and well the mp5 is some sort of hammer drill after all |

It looks like its that same guy again, this picture makes me think twice about hammer drill thing. I have a hammer drill at home and a classic army mp5, I do not think there is a solid way of attaching that without damaging anything. then again im known to be 90% wrong LOL |
looks like a giant maglite mounted on top...
|
Ask the guys on sas22.com afew authentic nimrod kit collectors there i would be shocked if someone on there didnt know.. sure does look like plyers though lol

It's just a strap that wraps around the foregrip; easy peasy.
|
oil filter wrench also comes to mind.
