Magpul CTR stock on VFC HK416 AEG

Hey guys,

I have a Umarex/VFC HK 416 AEG coming in and I'm thinking ahead to accessories and dressing it up. I have zero familiarity with the VFC 416 so my question is this;

Is there enough room in the buffer tube for a lipo battery as to accommodate a Magpul CTR Stock, or am I looking at either front wiring or a different stock choice?

Thanks guys;

Here's the idea.

Yes - I find there is more room in a VFC buffer tube for the 416 than my Madbull buffer tube made specifically for lipos.

Be aware of the stock clear plastic/poly piston and hopup unit - they crack.

i haven't had any problems with my hopup unit so far. The piston, i've replaced my piston with a SAT VVD.

Awesome thanks for the input guys. The stock issue was definitely my biggest concern. Internals will be dealt with when I turn the gun over to Renegade) for some gun doc stuff. Tightbore, new hop up, if the piston is crude then that as well

basically all you need to do is replace the piston and the hop up unit in the VFC other than that i think the stock gear set is pretty solid. the Gearbox shell i know is deff really good

I run the same gun, VFC HK 416 with the magpul ctr stock. I have no problems at all with lipos bats in the buffer tube.

I also had 0 issues with my stock vfc plastic hop up. I eventually switched it out with a Modify one. Piston was changed to a modify quantum, and also changed the motor cuz it was shit.

Purr's like a kitten now.

If you want to use P-Mags you might have to bust out the dremel, I've found that the magwell is on less of an angle than your typical M4 and there is one little ridge that gets in the way.

Used to own one a few years back, I'll vouch for the buffer tube being nice and spacious.

indeed the front lip of the magwell is lower on the 416 than M4s. i just milled some material off of it and Pmags fit fine. i did do this before the Emags were released, so there is that option too. if the Emags were available then, i would not have modded my mag well

Definitely go with Emags. I ended up having to swap hop up units as well on mine.

I discovered the pmag mag thing....was disappointing to say the least. But STANAGS don't bother me so it's not a big deal. Was very happy with the buffer tube and the MOE stock looks much better on there.

I'm assuming you mean the vertical grip with the integrated light, that would be a Surefire M900A/M900V (same thing different mount). If you mean the pistol grip it is a TangoDown Rifle Grip.
