Age verification

Hi newbie here, looks like a cool site and I would like to know more about airsoft and purchase one. Problem is I've contacted three reps and haven't heard back from any. How Long does it take?

R.I.T.Z November 22nd, 2012 22:03

how long ago did you contact them?
We have lives.
after meeting with a rep it can take anywhere from 2days -2 weeks

And Also: Where are you in the world?

Newmarket. About 4-5 days ago. I guess I'm just a little anxious lol

well you can meet a rep in any amount of time, just depends on how far you can travel. After you submit your information to a rep and then the rep submits it to site, average time is roughly 2 weeks.

This is not an overnight process my friend. All AV'ers are volunteers, and it is the Christmas season. Once your info is submitted by the AV (after meeting with you), it'll take on average two weeks to go through; so settle in. Don't forget to bring your "government issued photo ID" with you when you meet the age verifier. It must be yourself in person; no ID, no AV, no exceptions.

Take a short hop down to Port Credit, Army Issue store owner is an age verifier. Not that far of a drive for you and you can check out his gear at the same time.

*Caution* I've been in that store many times, and my wallet likes him more then it likes me, inlcuding my last visit there 2 weeks ago.

And no excuses about it being to far, in case you didnt notice I'm from Saskatchewan and can still make in person visits there lol.

I have that problem when I go to Dave's Surplus in New Westminister. :(

Ricochet December 20th, 2012 13:34

I was pleasantly surprised going into Dave's last time I was there. From the outside it almost looks like an old surplus store; then you go in and "POW!", it's nice. They carry some pretty good quality stuff you don't see often like HSG.

They've expanded in the last year to double their original size. And they do on the spot tailoring. My girl is super tiny and they managed to fit her into a marpat BDU.

Best gear store I've ever been in, period.
