Canadian Tire will have what you are looking for in a simple case.

Canadian tire has an assortment of padded hard rifle cases

FirestormX November 29th, 2012 20:37

In the Toronto area, Canadian Tires don't have very many cases like that. But as you head north, or east, where hunting and such is more prevalent, you'll find a lot of cases, for pretty low prices. Even walmarts, and other such retail chains have them, as you head out of the city.

I don't know where you're located, but if you're having trouble finding some cases in sporting stores, you may need to head out of the city.

But that's assuming you just want a carrying case. You can spend quite a bit more and get a nice Pelican case or something. You know, in case feel like going swimming with your gun case or something. =)

I am in York area and dont really travel that far north. Farthest i would say is Brampton. I am just looking for a decent case so the gun wont collect dust

go to your local one, and go to the hunting section

Also, if need be you can ask them to order one for that store..

If you ever go out east along the 401 to Oshawa or Pickering, they've got cases in those stores.

Here's a fun game someone pointed out to me too - go into the Sail store in Oshawa, and count the number of people NOT wearing Real Tree camo.

Curo November 29th, 2012 21:07

Hey.... I wear mossy oak.

FirestormX November 29th, 2012 21:14

I figured you would, based on your location. ;)

It just struck me as odd. Going to a sporting store in hunting camo is like going to a concert wearing a tshirt from the band you're going to see.

Curo November 29th, 2012 21:20

Now if your out that far Sail is a very good store, you can get many things that are useful to airsofters there. Not limited to gun cases.

But it's very nice to see someone who realizes that gun cases are important. Cause they are, we need to carry our guns in them.

SuperCriollo November 29th, 2012 21:23

Go to Bass-pro, there is one not that far from your location :P

lurkingknight November 29th, 2012 21:47

Basspro in vaughn would be my choice for gun cases they have a good selection

I'm looking for a case as well (In Quebec region) for a G36c, and I would love a case not too long (+/- 35", the g36 being 29"). Unfortunately, Canadian Tire only has 50"+ cases.

Any alternatives?

I ordered a very cheap gun bag from a Chinese B2C site, $34 for a 40" bag, shipping included. Haven't received it yet, as the shipping is super slow as it should.
Not sure about the quality but I am not expecting very much for this price.
