Magazine for VFC SR16 CQB
Hello,
I've recently jumped into airsoft and actually gotten a gun (the VFC SR16 CQB mentioned in the title) It came with a high-cap magazine, but I'm looking to get several mid/low cap mags for MilSim play. I was going to jump the gun and order some Beta Project Pmags because they are 75 round mags but a friend let me borrow one to see if I would like it and it was so loose it could be shaken out of the mag catch :x so I've been looking around. I've heard King Arms and MAG magazines might work, but I'm hoping for some experience before I drop the money. I guess I don't care if the magazines are plastic or metal, but I'd prefer not to pay 40 dollars a piece if it can be helped. Thanks for your time. |
Beta Project Pmags are SHITE if you going to get Pmags go for the PTS Pmags M version 120 rounds, they avrg around 20 - 25 bucks a piece but they are worth it since they are super sturdy and I've dropped them countless of times and they don't break :)
dunno but KA never worked in any of my guns Ive owned so i wouldn't use that but try CLassic army midcaps they work great and G&P should be decent also |
+1 for the PTS M4 mags
King Arms, G&P mags worked well for my G&P M4, then I upgraded to Systema |
The PTS M4 Pmags seem to have the same issue as the Beta Project PMags :( as do King Arms M4 mags.
The only one that fits well was the high-cap it came with. I'm not sure what else to try now, hoping for some more input while I shim the mags I have. |
Generally, most mag problems can be fixed by applying a bit of female velcro to the inside of the magwell.
otherwise, I'd suggest wholeheartedly the PTS Pmags, but then again, I have a masada, so of course they go well together. :P |
Do you need 2 threads for this?
