VFC upper and lower receiver compatibility
 

Was wondering if anyone can help me clarify whether VFC lowers fit other brand upper receivers. Im looking to build a complete upper but Im having a hard time finding a VFC upper receiver.

SO i was wondering if any other brands fit onto VFC lowers?

What specific lower do you have?

I have a 416CQB lower here that I can test KA and G&P with.

I have the KAC SR16 series lower. I have a VFC SR635 and want to build an SBR upper so was wondering if other uppers fit.

Isn't... the SR635 already an SBR? -___-

I'll check for you tonight, no guarantees that the 416 lower is the same as the VFC KAC lower though.

VFC HK416CQB lower receiver.

Not compatible with KA M4 upper - KA upper front tab is too thick. Tried it with a KA SR15 upper - same thing.
Not compatible with G&P LMT upper - the LMT upper is too short to hook up to the back of the VFC receiver. All G&P uppers are roughly the same so you're out of luck on that
Not compatible with Madbull Noveske lower - same issue with G&P. Also the hookup system is completely different (CA 2-pin system)
