Need a Barrel Nut for KWA KM4 (pic added)
 

Hi all,

I have a stock KWA M4 (KM4) and a spare G&P RAS that I want to install onto the kwa. The problem I came across is that the G&P RAS barrel nut threading is different from the kwa receiver threading. I dont know who's thread is proprietary and who is using standard thread between G&P and KWA.

So to mount the G&P RAS, it seems like i need to get a barrel nut that will thread onto the KWA. I would really appreciate it if anyone has a spare to sell, or can point me to a retailer with a KWA compatible barrel nut.

Picture below is the G&P barrel nut. I would need something like this but with KWA compatible thread:

What type of rail system is it? (what is it a clone of). From the picture it looks like a Noveske rail nut. Knowing what rail system it is can help us track down the equivalent AEG nut.

G&P is the company with the proprietary threading.

LOL alright, so it's basically a Noveske clone. Seeing as how LMT doesn't even make that rail in real steel.

You can try to get the Madbull Noveske nut for AEG receivers. Hopefully the outer diameter of the Madbull nut matches the inner diameter of your rail system collar. The other option is to rethread your KWA receiver threads to take the G&P nut via a triangle file.

I've looked up the Madbull Noveske nut earlier, however it seems like the only one i can find is "Madbull Noveske Barrel Nut for G&P" Does this mean that this nut is for the G&P proprietary thread?

Yeah it's the opposite of what you're looking for. (Putting a regular AEG rail onto a G&P receiver).

You might be able to find someone who did that and has the spare nut left over...

Does anyone know of a retailer that actually sell a standard barrel nut? I looked around and did not find any myself, but find it surprising that no one sell this. Any help from the community would be appreciated :)

Why don't you email Juggles at Airsoftparts.ca he is a Madbull dealer and he is a great guy he may be able to score you the barrel nut for your rail.
