G&G F2000 Barrel Length / upgrade

So I have a G&G FN2000 Short.

I measured my barrel and it's about 430mm. I want a good quality barrel with my flat hop. I figure Prometheus would be good. The problem is that the 433mm barrel they have is for the VSR-10 only I think. Since the cut/notches for the hopup at the end of the VSR barrel looks different to me. Am I wrong?

Anyway - should I just go a tiny step lower and pickup the 407mm 6.03 barrel? My cylinder should support 350-450mm barrels, so I'm ok in choosing this, right? No performance loss.

Are there any other barrels that I should consider? Madbull pythons, IIs, modify hybrids... I can't find any decent reviews and the general consensus is that Prommy makes the best barrels.

I've also heard that the G&G stock barrel for this gun is quite good paired with a flat or rhop. Can anyone comment on that?

Any help would be great, thanks :)

I can confirm that VSR-10 barrels definitely have a different cut than AEG barrels. You shouldn't have any problem with a 407mm barrel, you're losing only about 2cm. I am using an AK length tightbore in my G3 (455mm vs 470mm) and no problems here.

I put an Angry Gun 455mm in mine and it has preformed amazing., It does not stick out past the flash hider, and its under $40.

Did you have a short or long barrel? Or can you see it in the flash hider?

you can just see about 1/2 inch in the flash hider , so just paint the outer tip so it blends in.
