Upgrading and maintaining my gr16

I just bought a g&g gr16 and I love it! I'd like to upgrade it as much as possible but I'm new to the sport and don't know the first thing about doing this. I also would like to know what I should be doing as far as regular maintenance goes. Can anyone direct me as to where I can get this info. Ideally I'd like to do all of this myself.

Re. Upgrading.. Use it and see. If it's not broke, don't fix it. Use .28's or .3's. Cheapest and easiest upgrade there is.

Yeah I've played with it and its pretty accurate and shoots fairly far. I just want it to be a really good gun and assumed it could be better but seeing as its my first gun I have nothing to compare to.

There's a few gundocs around winnipeg that can upgrade your gun.
Otherwise do research, but if you're not mechanically inclined, you should leave it to someone who is. It's really easy to break an AEG when you don't know what you're doing.
