Glocks with Metal Slides

Glocks are Polymer guns and why people use metal slide with airsoft Glocks?

Maybe to give a harder kick with a heavier slide, or to increase it's lifespan before something breaks? Personal preference maybe?

It's a porcelain gun made in Germany. It doesn't show up on your airport X-ray machines here and it costs more than what you make in a month!
