Classic Army Scar-L Not working

When I received it, it appeared to be in perfect working condition but when I started shooting it it would cut off and all I could hear was a click after a few bursts. I thought it was a battery issue but I am not sure, because I charged it with my smart charger and it worked for a couple of full clips then it died off again and only clicked. Is this as simple as a lame battery issue or should I take the gun to a shop to have it looked at?

I would recommend getting a known good battery and starting there.

Based on what you described, it could be your gun, your battery or even your charger.

I won one in a mysterybox from toronto airsoft. I couldent get it to fire at all, and the motor adjustment didnt help either, so I sent it in DOA and they called me and had it fixed, simply the motor adjustment. He did mention get a better battery, so I would start there. I think I locked my gearbox, so make sure the battery is fully charged before you use it. Otherwise I wouod find a gun doc

CA motors are incredibly shitty and die very quickly. Like has been mentioned, try a battery that you know works, and if that doesn't work, see if you can try someone else's motor.

+1 I forgot to mention that. The CA motors are crap lately. Probably a motor replacement will help too.

Thanks everyone for your advice, I decided to just go to my local hobby shop and he replaced all the connectors with deans connectors and it works amazingly now!
