Marui G17 vs G18C sights
 

I'm shopping for an three dot sights for my WE G17 which is based off Marui G17. I noticed retailer list certain sights are for G17 while others G18C. My question is, does it matter? Will a G18C sights fits on G17? (They looked identical)

The BBUs are different...at least for TM...

Front sights are the same.

The rear of the G18C sights have a chamfered base. You can use G18C rear sights with the G17 if you have a longer sight screw, however not vis versa without making that chamfer.

You can get the Detonator one. It comes with the two different mounting bases that Qlong is talking aboot....

I had one installed in my Marui G17 and then moved it over to my 18c. Their pretty pimp. Just keep checking to see if they are loose. They tend to unwind stock sights do...

can you run real steel sights with those Detonator ones?
