airsoft suppressor import

Hey so I managed to find a 16mm TM mk23 suppressor for the wicked price of 10 dollars. Considering there are basically no reasonable alternatives ATM and a TM is a rare find I scooped it up. It is currently with relatives in The US. Now I know the rules regarding them are a bit dodgy and want to know the best way to bring it back. I figure I will just bring the end caps back if they unscrew. I can then mail the metal tube at a later date and assemble once its in country.

any thoughts here on the best way to do this?

Thanks Guys!

I've imported a couple of mock suppressors no problem coming from HK by post.

so would I be better off to just mail it to myself?

For all they care it's just a tube of metal with threads on it BUT MAKE 100% SURE THAT IT DOES NOT HAVE ANY FOAM OR BALLASTS INSIDE!
