Modify Tech M24 is it worth it?

I've been looking into the purchase of a sniper rifle for awhile now, and I was just wondering your opinions on the rifle so is it worth?

Or should I stick with just upgrading a CA M24 or getting my hands on a TM VSR to upgrade
