WE SCAR cycle issues

I have a WE SCAR open bolt, and my issue is that it is half-cycling on semi-auto. It is essentially firing a "2 round burst" and the bolt won't lock back once the magazine is empty. I got some help at TTAC regarding this but nothing has solved my issue yet. I don't have FPS inconsistencies, bb's don't roll out the front of my barrel, and I use synthetic grease for lubrication. I was told it could be due to over greasing, but I've cleaned out my upper/lower receiver, BCG and barrel, re-greased it (using only a fraction of what I used before =P), yet I'm still having this issue once every few shots. Full-auto is usually more consistent, and the bolt will catch when the mag is empty. Any ideas as to what my problem could be?

If your lower internals are stock, the sear or hammer could be wearing out. It can be other factors that's causing it, but I would start looking within the trigger box.

Thanks, yeah I've noticed some wear on the bottom of my bolt where it "hits" the hammer and pushes it down. I'll look into replacing some of those parts. Any thoughts on whether I should use stock parts or RA-tech parts?

I think you need to replace the sear set. Check it out!

Thanks, yeah I should have bought that instead of a stock trigger box. Oh well, I think I'll just use parts from my old box for now, not really down to spend too much on it right now.
