What do you do when you break your receivers
So to make a long story short, pretty much destroyed my CA plastic m4 reciever (cracked off the upper and lower along the front point and broke the upper reciever in half trying to pull out the pin. Now I kinda don't know what to do. Now the gun itself wasn't upgraded too much (just a madbull bucking and a tightbore) so would it be better to salvage the GB and barrel assembly and just get a new reciever set or should I just buy a completely new gun and use the parts as a backup?

Lots of nice metal recievers around. I like MAGpul lower and Vltor upper

There are some big advantages to just buying a metal gun as opposed to transplanting a metal body. Cost for one, it's more cost effective to buy a whole new gun.

If it was a plastic CA to start with, you're better off buying a whole new gun. The internals aren't worth saving.
