my idea

i was thinking . for those long games were you are waiting for something to happen at your position when you get bored . my idea is to have a mp3 player built in to the butt of your gun . good idea or not so good.

I find its always better to be paying all your attention(vision an hearing) on your surroundings. While your listening to some tunes, you most likely won't be hearing the people coming up on your position, etc.

Plus, if your not using headphones, everyone around can hear it, bascially it screams "Come here an shoot me!"

Huh... I've done that before. Thought about posting it here, but I didn't think it would catch on...

Good idea, though. Nice to see someone else thought of it...

Actually, I take it back.

I used Duct Tape...

Actually, I never used it for a game. Thought it'd be stupid, I used it at the local range...

Nice idea, makes you easyer to find and shoot for anyone listening for sounds that dont belong in a forest.

It certainly will reduce the amount of time you stay bored.

why even answer seriously

It's just like real life. Real soldiers suffering from attention degredation start smoking, playing cards and forcing the POWs to play Russian roulette.

1...2...3... MAOW!!!

Use something like the Marushin Constrictor which loads from shells. It's not a great game with the Pegasus loading revolvers which can carry something like 14 bbs.

Better idea is to rig the mp3 player to play when you squeeze the trigger and have it play recordings of real gun reports. But having it react that fast and finding a speaker that small, that's loud enough and won't drain the batteries would be a challenge. Be pretty cool though, beats hearing the "zing" of the motor & gearbox.
