I bought the wrong rifle or I grew suddenly!!

Ok, I bought a Mauser SR <<S>> spring rifle, only for the stock in fact because I have a Mauser with a different stock that I don't like.

I like the look of the AI stock so I go with this one. Everything I read about the rifle say it's compatible with Maruzen L96, which I have (a copy).

But man...This stock is to small for me!! Now, I think the <<S>> mean small or short!! And my other rifle doesn't fit at all inside this stock...too long.

Can anyone can measure at the same place than me his AI stock the help me understand what's going on??

Thanks folks!

Seems that you have a shorty L96, mine (WELL I believe) has 5.25" for the trigger area, and 29.75" overall length.

Sorry mate!

Maybe I can but it's my fault altought it was next to impossible to know this fact....

I think I'm gonna write to the store just to know if they can do someting

says right in the specs how long it is. I guess you wouldn't realize it if you didn't already know they're two different lengths though
