Full Metal Supressor for <$30

After reading THIS ARTICLE and building my own plastic suppressor , I was ready to game play it. About 3/4 through the day, I looked down at my fancy suppressor, and bam, a big chunk of plastic what missing. A BB must have chunked it good.

So I went down to Home Depot and got some plumbing junk. Here is the final product. I might just cut some slots in it and make it into a large flash hider instead of a suppressor, any thoughts?

Oh yeah, don't forget to drill a hole in the end...

Thats nice, great work. Did ya think of making the thickness of it consistant and a little longer? Still a great job tho.

That was actually my thought too, make it the same diameter all the way down. Looks good otherwise.

Looks good, but 30 bux, ouch.

My plastic one cost about 7 in materials and you can shoot BB's at it all day and it wont break.

Yeah that one was definately sick.

Well, you could do it for less than $15, I was being very generious so nobody complains if they pay too much.

Question is, is your gun stock? And in bush play, how often do you hit stuff with you gun? PVC piping is good, but in cold weather it becomes brittle, one swift strike and it will crack.

I dunno, I just like the heavy feeling and strength of metal, still, making silencers for $7 and $15 is a really good deal!!! Depending on what you are looking for, ASC now offers some good choices and instructions.
