Mag storage question
 

Hey guys,

So I'm wondering what the best way to store GBB mags is. Empty? Couple puffs? Full/almost full?
PS. is it harmful to store mags full?

Assuming you're talking about propane/green gas mags, I always store them with whatever gas is left at the end of the day, usually like a quarter of a mag's worth of green gas. I've heard that leaving a little bit of GG or propane with silicone in the mag will help keep it lubed up and prevent it from drying while it's in storage. As for BB's, I always empty them out to remove the tension on the spring.

1) Some people leave them empty.
2) Some people leave them with 1 second of gas fill.

Make sure you remove bb's, as state above, tension on the spring.

I personally use propane, after a game day end, I empty the propane slowly, and put in some green gas when I'm at home (After I clean them, etc.)

Then I store them in a ziplock bag, and then store it inside a container, inside a larger container.

A little bit of gas to keep the seals under pressure to prevent them from drying out. Not too much and do not store them in extreme temps. Remove all BB's

I fill mine with silicone oil laced propane, which is just green gas.

1. You should always be adding Silicone oil to your propane (An airsoft innovations Gas kit says 2 drops every 10 mags, its really easy.)

2. I store mine full, and I leave them inside at room temperature.

3. I never leave BBs in my mags between games, also if you use Bio BBs make sure you replace them with fresh BBs.

4. Stop wasting money on green gas, buy propane, add silicone oil, ??????, spend less.

Too much silicone oil in your propane cause your GBB rubber to swell. I advise to limit your drops. If you lube well before hand, you don't need to add oil into your propane.

Does anything in these replies apply to storage of CO2 mags?

Always eject the CO2 bulb after you're done. Just use up the bulb, then discard it and leave the mag empty.

Full of green gas (propane with lube), empty of BBs.
