Red Dot for GBBR

Hi, I'm looking for a good red dot for my HK416. Based on what I've heard, some red dots lose their zero over time with the recoil of gas rifles. I would be playing outdoors, mostly in the forest. My price range is around $100-150. I would like to know what other people run on their gas rifles for red dots. Also, any brands that make good red dots? (Bright, durable, holds zero). I don't want to spend the same amount as my guns worth on a real steel red dot, but if there are any good real steel red dots in my price range that would be good too. For aesthetics, I like the look of an eotech on the 416 like the 551 or the 553. I also like the closed tube style aimpoint M3.
Thanks

If you want real steel, Holosun and Vortex make decently priced red dots, they will run you around $230 and they are the T1 style.

Otherwise, if you want EoTech, those will run you 350-700$. Sometimes can find decent used EoTechs, but otherwise, anything repro will not be ideal for GBBR.

I do have a VORTEX SPARC II up for grabs, if you go that route, else the link above should provide you a good enough optic for your needs.

Cabela's carries a bushnell AR series red dot high mount for $150 that's worked well for me. Better than repro in any case.

Old Aimpoint CompM2s (circa Mod0 M68CCO) can be had for about $250-300 now depending on condition, the CompML2, even less.
For a relaible, battle-proven optic, you cannot go wrong.

I'd recommend picking up a Primary Arms Micro Dot if you can source one. Cheaper than the Holosun's but still great quality.

If that's still outta your budget, stick w/ a Bushnell TRS-25.

Just avoid clone sights like everyone else said, it won't last long on anything w/ recoil (asides from a few Comp M2 clones).
