AEG Fuses

Hey,
I was wondering what kind of fuses are usually used in stock guns, and in upgraded guns?

mcguyver November 8th, 2005 22:12

15 amp agc (glass) is sufficient for all guns. if you repeatedly blow that fuse, you have a problem that needs attention or it will cost you a failed component.

dime a dozen(not really, but cheap) at canadian tire

thanks, I have about a million fuses in my basement, just I wans't sure which to use

Standard automotive glass tube 1 1/4" fuses. Stock, as mcguyver said, is 15A, but if you put in a heavier spring, you'll need to toss in a 25A fuse (30A are easier to find and are better than no fuse). Canadian Tire has them in the automotive department if you can't find the right ones in your basement. BTW, the voltage rating doesn't matter. I get my 25A and 30A fuses from work, and the only ones I can find with that rating have voltage ratings of 32V, so even 115V rating is good. As long as it's over 10V you will be fine.
