M249 battery question/ideas

Been running my CA mk46 and love it but curious if:
1 anyone ever wired box mag to run off either a 7.4 butterfly lipo or small lipos used for running p* for in buffer tube. They are only 300mah vs 500 for a 9v but rechargeable. I know guys have wired them off the motor wires but I don't want to do that until I get a quality mag brand vs my CA brand.

2 heard/read somewhere that the trigger switch is only rated for like 10v

Years ago I had a friend try todo never Got it to work right. You can buy a a and k box mag that is sound activated works well for me

If you have no problems running the battery to the gun theres a spot to fit up to a 5400 mah in a 7.4 volt big block the wiring just has to make it to the mag

Mosfet + re wire.

read my post, I use a 2200mah brick hidden in a P mag. Not for everyone though. Scroll about halfway down for the battery stuff.

As for the switch rating, it will have the maximum amperage and voltage ratings on the switch. You should be less concerned with max voltage and more with max amperage.

You need to put an actual quality microswitch in before you can use a mosfet with active braking. Good idea to do it for one without as well or you could cycle the crap out of the fet from bounce.

Use a pressure switch to run the box mag, its more reliable and convenient than any other system. And just wire it right to the battery. Ran all my box mags and 249 off an 11.1 4900mah lipo.
