Anyone know where to find this gun?

Walter WA-2000

I've been looking for one of these for some time now, however I can't find one.

Does anyone know anything about it? I don't even know who the manufacturer is, maybe it's a discontinued gun? But hey I have a pic.

I know Gareth puts out a WA 2000 "like" this, however I'm looking for the model above.

Anyone?

That's a Sherriff Highlander DX or Highlander Magnum. WAAAAY out of production, and less than 200 made IIRC. If you could find one, it would probably run in excess of $3K...there's a guy in the US who has one on classicairsoft.net.

Incidentally, it uses a bb-reservoir system. One tug of the charging handle loads 50 bb's at a time, with 1000 in the reservoir.

Huh... you've made me want to get one now. However, I don't have 3K, let's just hope that some other company snaps up the idea.

I have access to one during my next trip. I beleive the price for it (it was the wooden version) was 260,000 yen (about $2,600). If you want it, I'll pick it up for you & ship it, but it's up to you to arrange a legal way of importing.

Notice the part there in the ad, Muzzle energy: 0.4J

Wow... I think I'll pass, I put away a very small sum of money : (

It's also gas. By custom upgrading with a few parts metal he manufactured himself in a small machine shop and adding a regulator, the dude on Classicairsoft.net got his shooting 450 fps....

Dirty Deeds November 25th, 2005 20:37

Thanks alot for the info Scruface, it will help alot in my search. However, I will have to save some more $$$. Even at $3K, I still want it.

Aquamarine, thanks for he offer, however I'm not really fond of the wood version. And what do you mean "legal importation"? You can't just throw it in your carry-on?......

Thanks again guys.

Aquamarine November 25th, 2005 21:08

by Legal Importation, I simply meant that I'll gladly send it to whichever address you want.... wether it's a retailer who's doing you a favor, or your local P.O. box. It's up to you to get the permits (or someone with the permits) to bring it in for ya :)

Dirty Deeds November 25th, 2005 21:34

I know what you mean't, I was bugging you. I'd love to see the person's face at the X-Ray machine when your carry-on went through at the airport.....lol

Skruface November 26th, 2005 00:38

I did a bit of research and found it's even rarer than I first posted. Apparently, there were 3 production runs of 25 guns each...amounting to only 75 in the world. There were 2 versions - one with ABS stock (DX) and one with wood stock (Magnum) if my info is right.

If you're really interested, check with this guy:

http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZraresoftQQhtZ-1

His ebay store account is Raresoft, but his username at classicairsoft.net is "SniperX". He owns the upgraded one I mentioned earlier, and can probably find another. Hell, if the price is right he might even sell you his pre-upgraded one....

When someone from ISC was surveying Arnie's forum for their next sniper rifle idea, this rifle came up as one of if not the most popular choice. So maybe we'll see one in the near future.

AHHHHHH......but to have an original one of 75, that's where it's at.

Man you're awsome! I still have to save some more $$$, but if I can find one in the spring, it will definatly have a "SOLD to DIRTY" tag on it. Thanks again man. There is also another guy selling one on classicairsoft.net for $2200 US.

That AUG is a beauty!
Now i'm going to have wet dreams :(
At 500fps, it is adjustable, right?
