KJW M9 mag issues
 

Hello, I have a KJW m9 elite that is having mag issues. Specifically I bought 2 WE 52 round extended mags for it and they both wont fire with the KJW. The mag seats into the magwell just fine and when I pull the trigger a very quiet poof is heard. When I push the mag up it will fire and cycle properly. It seems like the mag is just a tiny bit too low for the striker to hit the valve.

Now before I get yelled at I did my research and have read that supposedly the WE mag and kjw m9 are compatible. From what I am seeing it should work but need to have the magazine sit slightly higher in the pistol.

Comparing the KJW and WE mags I noticed the KJW one has a bit less play and the valve has a larger striker face. When I swapped the kjw valve into the WE mag I got successful cycling about 70% of the time. An improvement but not enough. Any suggestions?

Also does anyone know a GBB whisperer near Vancouver? The m9 has been giving me issues from the moment I unboxed it and maybe some professional TLC is what it needs.

Have you dropped the gun in sand or exposed it to any dirt from the get go?

I would suggest you buy KJW mags instead.
