post a pic of what it's doing if you can. sounds like the piston is hanging up on something. Always test fire a pistol at a store AFTER you buy it because if there's a problem at the store it should be exchanged without question. If they don't let you test it i'd give someone else my hard earned cash because it could be a return they're trying to make money on at someone elses expense. when you take it back home and return it with a problem you're stuck with it in most cases, buyer beware. The problem might only require some mild sanding or filing, also check the piston and slide for cracks, make sure the piston block assembly screws are not loose, blue loctite them. lubricate it within reason and rack the slide several times to get things moving. hope it helps
