Gun Issue?
So, I am looking to sell one of my M4's. I transferred most of the upgraded internals to my new VFC, so I put the stock wiring back in the rifle. After shimming, putting back together, nothing happens on trigger pull. So I figured it was a wiring issue, so I put the Firestorm Systems mosfet wiring in the gun that I know works as I've used in before in a rifle, nothing. So then I changed the motor, still nothing. I have no error codes to go off of in this gun, so help?
Battery works fine in other guns Motor connections are securely on Wiring system works in other guns |
Soooo from past experience where I ended up destroying my dean's connections you'll likely need to simply replace the connectors.
This happened to me on my last gun where I resoldered the wires to the dean's and had no gun response when pulling the trigger HOWEVER when I rubbed a screw driver on the contacts there was still electricity flowing e.g. Sparks flew It's probably an issue with too much heat and melting something inside the wiring when soldering on the wire connectors. I'm assuming you're running dean's but if you're tamiyas I'm going to recommend swapping to dean's. |

Trigger contacts?

Well theres only one thing left to do now... Buy and resoldering completely new wiring for the whole damn thing. If it's a short or melted insulation inside the wiring somewhere... This will fix it...
Same thing happened to me when I took too long to solder. |

Is your motor toasted perhaps?

Stupid question but how are you transplanting the wiring from one gun to the other?
