overseas order received - FYI
 

Just thought I'd add to the archives that my order came in from WGC within a week - even after stopping at customs for 3 days!

I ordered:

- Falcon Ergo front and rear grips
- Phantom flashhider
- Systema M120 complete mechbox

WGC had written for 'airsoft model toy' on the bag. Customs appended it to 'Sports Equipment' on their bill.

WGC even threw in a nice hat for free.

Post up if you've been successful or failed and what you had, it might be interesting to figure out how to increase the odds knowing what was a problem.

Considering none of those parts are either receivers, barrels, etc., I don't see why there would've been a problem.

Even barrels aren't usually problematic. Receivers (and whole guns, obviously) are the problem. Grips, stocks, accessories, usually even mags, aren't a problem. Internals (springs, gears, etc) aren't even "gun parts" in any way.

Yeah, I figured those things would be 'safe' hence the order, but I did hold back on ordering mags with this order. I figured the sum of all the parts might start to look like a problem to someone.

What was shipping like? Something crazy? $50+ CDN? What about customs fee's?

My friend ordered his wife from WGC. A great deal of her got seized. He was only left with the left leg, right boob and nose.

At least he got some of the important parts through, who needs much of the rest.

Customs ripped opened my Prometheus inner barrel packaging, probley thought there was pro"meth"eus in it :lol:

I got a shipment from UNC within a week including customs and the weekend.

Did they at least leave in the free hat? They tossed her in the smelter before he even felt her. Sh*t man, thats just too bad. Having said that, I'm surprised the boob passed.

As for shipping, it was reasonable all things considered. $35US, plus I paid $34CDN in duty/tax/customs. I could have paid less, as WGC marks whatever value you want on the package, I just opted for half.
