TM Glock 18C gearbox problem

i'm a noobie to airsoft guns and to the forum as well.

i have a question regards to the gearbox in the Tokyo Marui Glock 18C fixed slide.

i have added upgraded parts to the pistol myself and had no problems re-assembling the gun. but my problem is when i pull the trigger the gears get stuck and does not pull the piston. the battery isn't a problem either. fully charged.

any suggestions as to what could be the problem?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank in advance!

Align the gears wrong?
Connect the motor backwards?
Anti-reversal lever thingy on backwards?

There are so many things that could cause this...

Whatever you do, take your finger off the trigger, now.

if the gears get stuck then obviously you should not pull the trigger again until you have fixed the problem, as this could strip the gears and you would be up the creek as there are not many places that sell parts for aep gearboxes.

this could be related to the motor being installed the wrong way. this makes the motor run in reverse and it gets cuaght up on the anti reversal latch. this WILL strip your gears if you hold it for too long.

i think i've just align the gears wrong. i have haven't de-soldered any wires or any connections from the motor. is there a dummy proof way of lining them up?

Thanks
