Effeciency of Gas Guns (GBB vs. NBB)

I have been wondering about GBBs and NBBs, or more specifically, which does better on gas. Say THISCOMPANY makes THISGUN in GBB and NBB style. Which would do better on gas?

Thanks

NBB, since you're not using any of the gas to move the slide.

Ok thanks, that makes sense.

not a lot of searching here , huh ?

Droc April 19th, 2006 00:20

but since propane is so darn cheap, it comes down to preferance.
sure, some NBBs shoot nice and hard, but NOTHING in airsoft is more satisfying then cycling rounds in a GBB.

totally agree with Droc , AEGs are useful , GBBs are beautiful , that's my motto

Wingman, you were asked to make some efforts in not posting for no reason. Your question shows you did not even try to search.
Stop typing for a while, and start to read instead. Try it, dont even reply, just read.

You have 2 years to read before you can play anywhere, so by then you should have learned a few things. Maybe you will have learned basic physics in school too. That also requires reading.

Sorry for being so harsh, but man... dont you even try?

Oh God , Greylocks has been with me for the last 2 threads , what an honor !

8) 8) 8) Now I feel important lol

but back to the thread , yeah man , we all did our searchs and we all passed countless hours on the internet searching before actuall;y posting here.

Sorry about posting before reading. I didn't see anything in the search about this. I had beem thinking about this since lunch yesteday and figured that less action = less gas used, but I wasn't quite sure. Sorry about that.

Nothing says, "ProPAIN ready out of the box" like a good NBB, though.

These are semi automatic weapons. Although they are not seen frequently, they do see use as sidearms. The general rumour is that the speed and power of these weapons slightly exceeds those of their Blow back counterparts as minimal gas is used to cycle to the next round. These will not allow most players to compete effectively in a skirmish.

I would prefer a GBB for the realism.
The new AEPs seem like a great alternative, but no Colts are out yet.

Cheers,
