Custom Camo ICS OlyArms
Heres my first camo job for a customer please let me know what you guys think. Im kinda freaking out since it is my first paying customer. the gun was painted before i got my hands on it, i had to strip everything off and redo it. the origianl paint scheme can be seen on the stock, its a dark green and brown freehand pattern.
http://i6.tinypic.com/14ke91s.jpg http://i6.tinypic.com/14keeit.jpg its a variation of my multicam-ish paintjob from this thread awhile back: http://airsoftcanada.com/showthread....t=multicam-ish I'll get some better pics outdoors tomorrow. |
That's bloody amazing! Great job mate!

I've never commented in this section before, but!
That's hot! I mean, that's AMAZING! What did he end up paying you? Stock needs some doing though... Where are you located anyway? I mean... just for interest's sake and estimating potential costs... etc. |
You do not need to freak out. That is one of the most wickedly awesome paintjobs I've ever seen!

http://i5.tinypic.com/14mb2pf.jpg out in the open in urban bombed out cityscape. in direct sunlight. http://i6.tinypic.com/14mb62o.jpg out in the open on grass and scattered sunlight. http://i5.tinypic.com/14mb88l.jpg in the open against mostly green background. http://i5.tinypic.com/14mb7t3.jpg under cover and in shadows. http://i5.tinypic.com/14mb8nd.jpg against very light colored tree. when finished the gun will have matching aimpoint and rail covers. i didnt charge much at all only a little more than the costs for paints and shipping. im in the usa though so sadly i cant do any paintjobs for you guys. if you want to see a simple how too look at the thread i linked to in my first post. |
Really nice paintjob :)
Questions, what do you use to strip the paint? What kind of paint (brand) are you using? Thanks |
Don't shortchange yourself, Daedalus_DevGru, that's one of the best paintjobs I've seen, especially for on-demand work. Time to start charging big bucks, it definitely looks like it's worth it.
|
Well if someone did want to get a gun painted by you, they could always ask Mark Anderson (whoha on these forums) to see if he will re-import it for them. Might cost a few bucks, though it looks like it would be worth it.
