Maruzen MP5KA4 CQB silencer removal
 

Hi guys, I'm got the MP5K shown in the picture in this thread:

As you can see, theres a silencer attatchment on it. Now I'm trying to remove the silencer so I can install the new foregrip i have for it but I can't figure out how to get the damn thing off. I bought the gun second hand so I don't have a manual either.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Maruzen is the gas one right? If thats the case, i had the limited edition one that had the silencer attachment, which also extends the inner barrel. If this is the same gun, and the silencer BY maruzen as well, than the silencer should come off by turning it. Hopefully you didnt put it on TOO tight.

Now down to business, I tried unscrewing it but it doesn't seem to budge. Does yours have a positive or negative thread?

Oh, and what does your silencer look like? Mine is just plain matte black with no markings or anything.

From what i recall, if you look at the gun straight on, it should come of counter-clockwise.. . But going by what Oz said, it suggests the silencer may be permenantly attached.
