What is an SRT?
 

I'm not exactly sure if this belongs here or in the discussion area.

I was standing in line to pay for my gas today, and these two guys in front of me were talking about airsoft. The conversation went something like this:

So now I'm wondering what an SRT is. I did a search on google and these forums, and all I found was 2 words. AUG SRT. Due to the lack of information I thought I would ask everyone here. What is an SRT?

If I type in SRT airsoft in google, it brings me to some shitty Firepower SRT-SD3 (MP5) ad on Amazon. lol

If that's the case, those 2 must be really good buddies. lol

He may have said SRC which is a company. They make the TM clones.

If he really meant to say SRC instead of SRT...for $500, someone is about to get 'rip' off for sure. SRC airsoft products are of very poor quality.

SRC isnt THAT bad. In Canada theyre about $300-$400 stock. But a cheap SRT MP5 on amazone i'd say is worth less than $150-$100.

Not bad compared to what exactly? Inquiring minds want to know where you get your research information from.

I think SRT is Dodge's performance cars division like the SRT-10 Viper :-D

SRT is the dodge Neon tuned version with a turbocharge.

Or it can be the Dodge Charger SRT. Which has the Hemi engine in it.

The guy at the gas sation probably wanted to say SRC. For 500$ that guy is getting RIPPED OFF!

wrong... the dodge neon performance version is the srt-4... charger is srt-8 and viper is srt-10

the only srt ive seen is on A&A, it looks like an mp5 knockoff with an orange tip because they are produced in the us

Jeep has a SRT version in the Grand Cherokee also. 6.1L HEMI ;-)

All three have SRT in it. I'm not wrong. I just didnt know the numbers...
