which spring guide does everyone like the best?

im planning on getting a spring guide...any good recommendations anyone?I have a TM m733 commando with the following:
promethius ak47 length titebore
guarder steel bushings with dual oil chambers
systema duracon pistonhead
guarder sp120 spring

Any version two with ball bearings. They will cause a slight increase on your FPS due to the bearings compressing your spring a few mm's. They all basically do the same job. I have them installed on all my guns although IMO they don't really do all that much.

reason why im askin this is, so far ive had 2 ppl suggest me promethues but they are 5 bux more expensive that guarder or systema or any other brand...money is not an issue since its only a few bux..i just want ppls opinions on which one did they use and thought it worked good. thanks

They basically make little to no difference. It's almost like saying the blue spring guides work better than red because blue is a more popular color.

I put a Guarder bearing spring guide in my MP5 with a PDI 150% spring shooting a pretty consistant 352fps, and my velocity went up to 370fps with 0.20g BBs and hop up off (hop up on, sat at 365fps). So a bearing spring guide WILL add to your fps, but not a huge amount, 10-15fps if lucky (also found a 15fps increase in my CA M24 with the addition of a bearing spring guide).

And it doesn't really matter the brand you buy, just as long as it's meant for the version of mechbox you have (in your case, a version 2). They are also made out of solid metal, so you won't run any chance of a broken spring guide (I've seen 2 TM stock spring guides bust, a bearing one is a good reliability upgrade).

Prometheus spring guide. Very nicely build and a bit more expensive than the Systema spring guide. The prometheus spring guides are "claimed" as the smoothest ball bearing spring guide out on the market. I don't know about the Guarder ones though since I have no experience with them.

I'm using a Airsoft Surgeon Stage 2 on my setup right now. However the gun has been shooting with no problem.

hmmm...yup that was my first choice..prometheus. but i also hear guarder makes great guides as well..i was only thinking of choosing guarder because i will be buying a guarder cylinder head, guarder airseal, guarder bushings and i have a guarder spring ...might as well stick with guarder. since its a tad cheaper...but when they claim to have the smoothest ball bearing...very tempting. hehe

I mix and match, so I know that I am getting the best quality parts inside my gun! I have a prometheus spring guide and the gun seems to love it with my Airsoft Surgeon spring. Guarder everything eh? There cheaper than any other brand. However I am not sure about quality... Never tried. Except for my metal bushings which I still have to test out.
