I heard AK 47's metal front end caused problem

Well ! I always like to upgrade my gun to metal body due to the way I abused my gun. ( those whom see me in action knows what I am talking about :D )

I would like to get an AK 47 metal fron't end but I heard it will causing loading problem. Is that true ?

Never had a feeding issue with my G&P metal front end on a CA metal body.

Greylocks December 17th, 2006 18:48

If you have a Marui, the front end is already metal...

No Greylocks he is talking about the connection block between the body and the barrel. When you get a metal body it doesn't have that part with it. Its just the "lower" bit of the receiver and not that block that secures the barrel and body.

Then it's far cheaper to learn not to abuse your gun.

I have had some issues with certain mags fitting on my AK. It has a G&G metal body, and some of my mags will not fit properly that would normally fit fine on the stock plastic body. In particular, a pair of STAR AK-74 style midcaps, which I know will fit on other TM AKs.

Specifically, the mags will feed the 3-4 BBs that would normally fall out when the mag comes out. Then, none feed from the mag after that. Just a heads up on that, I promised HoJo I would let people know about that.

No WAY !!! is an AK
it is saying " Come and Abuse me " :D

ask Dirty Deeds and Raven how I play and I don't abuse my guns more than I abuse my body when I play

Dracheous December 18th, 2006 13:41

Shit, ask? We have a video somewhere here on ASC of it!

Anyway, the things I'd heard are probably what Lonewolf heard too, was that they just break.

LUTNIT had mentioned one time that he decided to just leave the plastic block there, and that it all fit together fine. . . . save for those FRACKING wires. >.<

There are always 3 or 4 bbs that will fall out when you remove the mag. That is normal, they get stored in the feeding tube. It applies to almost all the AEGs out there.

Coma December 18th, 2006 16:13

Oh, I'm not such a noob that I don't know that, Grey. Just the thing is, those 3-4 BBs that initually pop out into the feed tube are the only ones that feed. No more come out of the mag, and when I take it from the mag-well none fall out. I guess I'm not as good with words as I thought I was.
