Importers for movie prop

Well, finally my dream of going into the movie business is coming true.
But with that comes some issues, namely props. I need AK-47s, about a dozen of them. I figure 3 or so TM ones will be needed as well as some movie prop ones.
I just don't want this stuff halted at the border and loose a bunch of money (not the airsoft, ill get that through ASCA), so anyone know of any importers that will do this for me?

first of to the flamers: No, this is not for an amateur movie. This will on a closed set. The permits will be in place, as well as some form of law-enforcement monitoring over the props.

If there is no importers, I will have to just apply for the Theatrical business firearms licence, but that takes a crapload of time wasted that I could be filming in, and the summer doesnt last long here.

Another thing is for the smarter people that read my profile, no I am not 18, and this is an entrepenuerial business. I know a respected member of the airsoft community that will be in possession and control of the props and airsoft version until we turn 18 at which time they will become proporty of our production company.

Getting an importer to import them for you if you arn't 18 is going to be hard, even if you have parental consent and the right permits, they might get edgy...

Yes, getting an importer wont be easy. Fortunatly, knowing the right people and having a reputation is working for me. Plus this very forum brought my answer right to me. Sure, it wont be easy, but im not the kind to give up when the going gets tough.

And yes, i do live my video games now... I suggest a zombie style airsoft game. Popular in Halo 2, and alot of fun in the dark abandoned buildings we shoot in (on private propory with consent of course)

I agree, there are some fun gametypes from Halo 2 that can be modified for airsoft :)

That, I would love to see, but if you haven't seen keystone 2.5 first hand, It might be hard to put something together of that size. I can only imagine what the game admins must have gone through... Fuck, it was hot that day, lol!

Well My editor has a hugeass piece of proporty somewhere out in the boonies, it takes about and hour to ATV across one side of the proporty, we always said we should have a game out there, lots of tree stands and high grass fields and low lying cedar swamps and stuff, lots of fun.... but no promises lol :)

Basic details: we will be known as Beester Productions, we are hoping to be in business in a few months, it is a youth entrepreneurship, meaning we are under 18 still but not for long. We will deal in mostly odd jobs whatever pays, and will dwell in short films once in a while, maybe eventually a feature film but not for a while. we will be functioning out of Oakbank MB, in teh RM of Springfield. Thats about all we got so far
