ASG Calc new version 2.7 in english !

Hello,
ASG Calc is an AirSoft utility software, and it's now in english !

You can convert energy/velocity (joules, fps, km/h, m/s).
You can calculate the time for charge batteries and there is an integrated timer with an alarm !
And some other stuffs...

Click here to go to my site and to download ASG Calc v2.7

Cordially,
Logan_32

Thanks!
You outta fix up your US download page, as it directs to the french description of the software (instead of letting you download), through which you have to go to the french download page, and than finally download the file.

Cheers,
Alex

Well - some feedback (I hope you don't take offense of me posting it here)

I set the charger to 2000mA, and the Battery to 1mAH, just to test the alarm.
The alarm rang, and when I hit stop I get an error message:

Exception EAccessViolation in module ASGCalc-v2.7.exe at 0013B26.
Access violation at address 00000028. Read of address 00000028.

After which another error sound goes out, but instead of another error, the program disappears.

Also, it seems ballistics are unaffected by BB weight whatsoever. Looks like a .12g and a .43g going the same FPS will drop at the same time with no hopup...? And is there anyway to closely resemble the flight using correct hopup for the right BB weight?

Otherwise its pretty cool!

Cheers,
Alex

Neglecting air resistance, two different masses will fall at the same rate.

drop a brick and a feather in a vacuume, and beleive it or not they will hit the ground at the same time

with air resistance, it depends on the shape of the two masses. since they both have the same dimensions, i'd assume that the difference in weight will make little change in the rate of downward accelleration, especially over only 1.5 m

corey

Not everyone here speaks French. When I click on that I want the english version it takes me to a page that is all in french, and yet no button there to download the damn calculator.

EDIT: No longer interested at all as it doesn't catter to English users at all.

FUCK that. I spend 20 fucking minutes clicking every square fucking inch of the "english" version download page and it doesn't do fuck all. If you don't want people who can't read fucking French to have it, then mission accomplished.

It's true ! I fixed up the US download page and now it's ok. Thanks !

For the "Exception EAccessViolation in module..." error message, I have noticed it in the Readme.txt file in the .zip archive. It is a known bug and I will fix it later if I can.
If you want to hear the sound of the alarm (to adjust the volume for example), you can click on the timer's Play button before entering values for charger and battery.

Cheers,
Yann

Sorry for that ! Mea Culpa ! I fixed it as soon as I knew the problem.
You could have written your remark on my page for the comments, thus I would have known it more quickly (by receiving an automatic email) and you would not have spent 20 minutes.

And thanks to ohter guys for their support ;)
